Making cider.

Best to but a kit if it's your first time.
Be prepared for your first ones to taste like cats ****.
Then You can start chucking different things in. Other fruits, elderflower or try doing ginger beer.
Can use champagne yeast if you want a stronger % brew.
I've made ginger beer a couple of times.
I'm not that clued up on the brewing side of beer/cider.
But being the person in charge of CAMRAs national pub of the year cellar, I know how to keep it

If you do make it it's going to be awful as it will be a flat horrible taste home brew. I have been to loads of beer festivals and all I drink is ciders and Perrys and all you do if find one that is bearable to drink. Not once have I ever thought a cider was nice and I would like to drink it, you just think can I get it down without being sick

A friend of mine bought me some scrumpy from Somerset some years back.It was very cloudy & in an unmarked 5 litre plastic bottle.
Now there's a week I won't be getting back!!!

Well mister and I bought loads from Weston Supermare once, when we were touring that end with some work. It was sold to us in gallons in plastic bottles (similar to the ones you get the screen wash in) and we obliged lots or our friends and family with that, back in North Wales. We saw the places it was being made at etc. Mister got enthused and started to brew his own in the old chapel. Didn't work out as good tbh.
