BBC weather app
Is it me or is the bbc weather app forever wrong?
Last night I would say we had the worst rain and wind I have even seen to the point it woke the house up.
Checked the app to see what the speed of the wind was and it was showing a dry night with 10mph winds. No gusts or anything.
Same as tonight. Its absolutely battering it down but it's saying it's a light rain.

Met office app is much better.
I have been and come back ( month in Aus ) , to exactly same weather...!
It's been doing this apparently since 23 Sept
Too much

Have a look at the Norwegian weather app called "YR".
Its the most accurate weather app I've found regardless of country or region. My Bro swears by it too in New Zealand!

The BBC very controversially dropped the UK Met Office over an argument about cost and now use Meteo Group a European weather consortium,
Why a UK government backed National Broadcaster can't use a UK Government backed National UK Met Office is beyond me....
