WTF is Trump doing - re-election and USPS scandal
Basically - WTF is Trump doing
To publicly announce he is deliberately hindering the United State Postal Service to prevent Postal Voting - as he says people who postal vote generally will not vote for him.
All in an era where a LOT of people want to postal vote - mostly due to CoronaVirus and alongside difficulty actually manning Poll Booths/Polling Stations which are typically run by retired 'at risk' citizens.
The bloke who runs the USPS (Louis DeJoy is Postmaster General) is classed as a Trump 'mega-donor' and is also helping obstruct the natural voting process - banning postal worker overtime, deliberately slowing the Postal Service to crawl and even to the point where they are actively ripping up post boxes from street corners...
The USPS is seen by US Citizens as the US's NHS - they love it - so actively trying to destroy it surely is he not p1ssing off most voters, not just those who genuinely wouldn't vote for him....and Biden is quietly sitting in the background biding his time... when polled something like 78% of voters said they would vote for Biden simply because he wasnt Trump!
So Trump is actively hampering free & fair elections like some dictator banana republic state....
Unreal...

Trump is a canny character - by engendering noise from the Democrats, he entrenches his own supporters.Trump just has to say a single word and the haters go wild and apoplectic.
In this case, the Democrats are refusing to allow a bill through to give people the $600 dollars that they previously were given - which I would presume are going to be a lot of Republican voters - as part of a Covid economic package, so Trump is refusing to allow funding for USPS (which is already $billions in debt) which might be used for the specific target of electoral voting - alleged to be a boon to the Democrats. Trump said that if they let that bill through Congress, he'd ease up on USPS. Its US politics at its worst and neither side gives a toss about the average US citizen.
It is an interesting comment on human nature that potentially "more educated" Democrat voters eschew actually going to the polls because they know the risks and are frightened of them, whereas Republican voters are "less educated", aren't so aware of the risks so will just go to the polls as normal.

Im sure i read somewhere even the USPS had said it had doubts about mail voting.
problwm with the upcoming election is the alternative, creepy joe biden, he makes turmp look like a saint. Not to mention i suspect the plan for the dems is get him in, he'll be empeached becuase of the whole ukrain scandal (go read up about it and you'll see he's as bent as a 9 bob note) and give camala haris the presidency as she had no chance of winning.
That said i dont think biden will win, hes to far left, too handsy with women and pretty bent.

Postal voting has only been available in a handful of states before now. Because of Corona, many more states (although still not all) now want to allow postal voting.
This is a problem for the Republicans because they often post militias outside polling stations to intimidate voters - in particular black voters who typically support the Democrats. This is one of the reasons why the black vote in the US is so low as many are simply afraid to go to the polling stations!
This year you have a combination of BLM campaign which is actively encouraging blacks to register for voting and due to Corona a huge increase in the number of states accepting postal ballots which will enable people to vote without being intimidated by the militias! There has been a huge surge in voter registration this time from black voters and first time voters with the majority registering for postal voting.
Obviously this scares the bejesus out of the Republicans who know they don't stand a chance if the black vote is enabled. In reality, they have never had majority support in the strong "republican" states, they have only maintained a majority by disabling the Democratic vote! This is why Trump/Republicans are trying to block postal voting - be it by disabling the postal service or by discrediting the reliability of postal voting. Of course statistically, Republican voters are more likely to be guilty of voter fraud than Democratic voters, but they don't want to point that out too much!
Be careful labeling Republican voters as stupid - they are equivalent to Brexit voters, they are not all stupid, some are just ultra-conservative and racist!

In the past, there was physical violence at poling stations. These days its more about militia groups hanging around staging "peaceful protests", but the intimidation is psychological with fear of repercussions if you turn out to vote!
Political campaigning on polling day is still permitted in the US. There is a line drawn outside the polling stations, beyond the line political campaigning is forbidden. Political parties are allowed to post challengers who can come beyond this line who can pick out voters who they think should be stopped from voting. The electoral official at the polling station then hears the challenge and decides if the person can vote or not.
The biggest problem though is the barriers put in place for voter registration, which are designed to make it difficult for undesirables to even register to vote. Due to the federal system in the US, it is the states themselves who set the voting rules in their state. So even if the Democrats are in government, then cannot change the rules in a Republican state. Elections in the US are a long way from being free an fair, which makes it all the more funny when they start lecturing other countries for being undemocratic!

I see its all down to swing states, Trump seems to be leading or won the majority of these. Unless there is some anomaly in counting what what has already known and mysterious unfound ballot papers appear, Trump has it in the bag.

- Arizona - Biden wins
- Florida - Trump wins
- Georgia - 92 per cent reported, Trump lead (2.2 per cent)
- Michigan - 76 per cent reported, Trump lead (5.5 per cent)

- North Carolina - 95 per cent reported, Trump lead (1.4 per cent)
- Pennsylvania - 74 per cent reported, Trump lead (12.7 per cent)
- Texas - Trump wins
- Wisconsin - 89 per cent reported, Biden lead(0.3 per cent)

The American voting system is even more broken than the UK's, both countries desperately need electoral reform, but will never happen as the two big parties benefit from the status quo.

The USA is never going to be brought together by a single party. The California economy is the 5th biggest in the world and if I was them I would be seriously consider looking into seceding the Union (or at least making it obvious to the government that this is something to be done if reform is not looked at). They will be Democrat for eternity but will get screwed by the Electoral College at every election.

Has Trump done anything other than systematically reverse everything obama did ?
whilst pitching everyman against the next , to suit his own ends
