Cheap CCTV cameras, where can I get them?

Boomer, not that cheap though eh. Trouble is with the nature of where I live, two entrnces to drive, trees etc I would need about four. Gets quite expensive as I whish to modulate them all.

http://www.rfconcepts.co.uk/ have a great range of cameras, good prices and quick delivery.
Bear in mind that cheap cameras may well be useless in the "dark" - check the LUX rating!!

Doing a search of www.argos.co.uk for "CCTV" only comes up with four cameras, the cheapest being GBP29.99 but is only black and white. The cheapest colour one is sixty five quid.
Chaz, i strongly recommend that you try RF Concepts (URL above) as they have models to suit pretty much any purpose!

Chaz,
whatever you buy, make sure that it will actually cope with the light levels that you have around your house at night. There is no point in buying a "bargain £25 camera" if it can't make anything out in the dark. RF Concepts also do cameras with IR LEDs for shooting in total darkness.
As for your house, could you fix a couple of cameras high up (near the roof) to cover a larger area. That way they would be difficult to tamper with as well?
As for modulating - it might actually be cheaper to just buy a couple of video recorders and wire the camera directly into them (via SCART composite video). They are incredibly cheap these days.

"Boomer, do you work for RF concepts?"
Sadly not
Rather than go to the expense of cameras etc., howz about buying some "alarm mines" - a blank shotgun cartridge connected to a tripwire. That way you can find the crims by following the trail as they **** themselves
