Bought my digital camera there a couple of years ago, here it was going for something like £750 but over there in gib I paid around £500 for the exact same camera with full european guarantee.
What you tend to find is that none of the shops put prices on things as there is so much competition so you have to go in and ask.
Watch out though, because it is duty free you may get clobbered by spanish customs re-entering spain. I forget what the limit is, but there are ways around it. The camera was way over, so in the shop they bin everything you dont need ie. box foreign instructions etc. They gave me a fully charged battery, so I could take some pics, then when you go back you can just say you bought it in from spain earlier.
Cigarettes are cheap but you can only bring back 200 per person.
Wine and spirits are also cheap.
The best thing is, you pay in good old pounds, so there is no conversion etc. to worry about, what you see is what you pay. Same for credit/debit cards also.
