Anyone who has never been - go next year!! It is a stunning day out. I know of no other event that lets you stand less than 10 feet from an F1 car and then watch it do a full bore start 
Fantastic.
I think we will go down for the whole weekend next year as we ran out of time, there was too much to see
I'll try and get some pictures up this evening.

completely agree. I went friday - weather was crap, but where else can you stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the likes of Derek Bell and Jacky Ickx, while watching some of the most amazing racing machinery ever fly past just a few feet away...

I'll second that. We went on Friday and it was fantastic, despite a little rain. Having been to the British GP, I'd say this was so much better. It's lower key and all the better for it.
The high point was seeing Jenson Button booting the *** off this Renault and watching the traction control keep the back end in check - from just 30meters away.
