I need a more economical car for daily commuting, so I guess I'm looking at a diesel or autogas-powered car. Not a fan of diesels because of the pollution (not just what comes out of the exhaust, but what I get on my hands when I fill it up ), so thinking about a petrol/gas car instead. Chap I spoke to at a Mitsubishi dealership this morning, though, said gas will destroy the engine eventually so I wondered if anyone here had any first-hand knowledge.

The old man has a duel fuel astra which is quite peppy and costs £15 to fill up with gas which lasts as long as a standard tank of fuel would. His running costs are very cheap and his only penalty is the slightly smaller boot!

Sounds good. I'm looking at a dual-fuel Vectra just now, but was a bit worried following my discussion this morning. Mind slightly more at rest Ta.
