cambridge****e / Lincolnshire house builders - help
#1
Can anyone help?
Approx this time last year we were looking at leaving the south east and had spent a weekend in cambridgeshire (just north of peterborough) and whilst there we looked at some new homes sites.
There was once place in paticular that has stuck in my mind, it was around the bourne/market deeping / spalding area, so would have been a housebuilder @ the north cambs/south lincs area, it was a small - meduim sized builder (as i'd never heard of them and used to work in estate agency but not in this area of the country).
The houses in question had oak double fronted doors to main doorways (front door/lounge/dining etc) and oak staircase, the kitchen was stone floored with a lovely great plinth in the middle.
The quality and level of furnishings was above anything i've seen in the south east (for less than telephone numbers) and the builders name has haunted me ever since as i can't remember it
Although its not haunted me as much as the 200k price tag which for wherever it was, was apparently expensive, but it sounded a bargain to me!
Anyone got any suggestions as to who this builder was or the rough area of the development if it rings any bells?
The development was very large, several house builders involved in some large estate thing, seem to remember there was a river running through the place as well.....
help!
oo looks like i spelt cambridgeshire wrong and slipped a 't' in somewhere - doh!!

Hi
try these
http://www.stamford-homes-ltd.co.uk/
I think they have a new development at Deeping St James, which has a river through it.
they build alot of houses in lincolnshire.
If you can remember the village name I'll go and have a look for you as I'm only 10 miles from Market Deeping/ Bourne. Any excuse for a blast

definately wasnt a jackson, though there specs look quite good.
Stamfords look a possible, but cant see a house of the style i saw in Spalding (am convinced it was spalding now having checked out the map for ages, would have been either the east-north side of spalding based on where we entered the main town from.
