Chris Moyles' new nightly show for Five pulled in 500,000 viewers on Tuesday night - a slight improvement on Monday's launch audience of 400,000.
The audience was Tuesday's lowest on terrestrial TV for the 1900 timeslot, representing 2.6% of available viewers, only just beating a programme last Tuesday about cathedral art.
Five had launched the laddish talk show with much fanfare, including a poster campaign.
A repeat showing at 0030 pulled in just 100,000 people - half the audience for BBC Two's Open University at the same time.

I think he's ace on the radio, him, Mark and Lard could run Radio 1 for me His TV show is pants though, I thought it was TFI Friday when I first saw it!
The article criticises (sp?) DJ's for not playing certain records, I think that's a tad unfair, I'd say the bigwigs at Radio 1 have more say on the playlist than the DJ's but yes, they do play some pants records

Mark and Lard make me laugh - by the way that they obviously hate playing anything R&B/Rap/Garage and do nothing but slag it off, yet they have absolutely no say over the playlist on their show and 99% of it's content is the above genres!! Ha ha, what a pair of losers.
They have had some funny sketches though - Fat Harry White was superb!
Chris Moyles is funnier on the Radio but less irritating on TV.

Moyles is funny most of the time, never seen him on telly and don't intend to, Mark and Lard I think is more a Northern thing coming from a suverner but still make me laugh, but Sara ***, she would get it big time from me , what a babe , used to hate her accent but now think it adds to her sheer sexiness
(I know i'm one of very few on here who like her, don't know why tho, she's feckin lurvely )

Mark and Lard - Classic
Moyles - Don't particularly like or dislike - sometimes I laugh sometimes I switch over...
I think he would work better on TV less often, with a bit more time each show to explore ideas (but then I suppose it would be like TFI). I'm sure he is a much bigger fan of music than is made out, if you listen to the 5:30 track each day some good tunes are played, and he certainly has more knowledge than comes across on air. I don't think he's brilliant, but probably more stable than Chris Evans!
