Question

My brother lives in Holland, and is just in the process of buying a pc. He doesn't know much about the internet etc, but has been havin a look at what is available and its all very expensive.

Can people tell me what providers they use and what sort of cost is involved. Can you get unlimited access plans in Holland?

Cheers,
Andy

Hi,

It depends on where he lives for what he can do.
He can choose Cable or ADSL if that is available in his region.
You can check if ADSL is available by using his postalcode (looks like 4321AB ).
Try this link;
http://www.telecomadvies.nl/internet/vergelijken/adslpostcode
if you can read a little Dutch.
It shows possible providers for the postalcode.

Unlimited access deals are available, but these are more suitable for businesses as they will be (more) expensive.
However, a ADSL or Cable connection will often have a 5 or 10Gb download limit per month. I would say that will be sufficient for normal use.
