The Enemy wants an exercise bike for Xmas as its too cold, wet and dark to ride the bike i bought her for her birthday any more (has only used it twice anyway).
So anyone got any recommendations for an exercise bike for her for about 100 quid, or am i better off getting a turbo-trainer for her mountain bike ?

Most exercise bikes are quite poor in my opinion. The Tunturi are good, nice smooth action and a decent heavy flywheel.
I would buy a turbo trainer if I were you. My recommendation would be the Graber Fluid Cyclops. I have one which my wife uses. Its quiet (most are very noisy) and has a nice action. It also folds up neatly. Graber also have a good reputation for dealing with defects.
I would also recommend something to raise the front wheel as this turbo raises the back wheel and a dance music video to stop the boredom factor. Hope this helps.

I've got a Tunturi (free from my boss
) nice bike but weighs a ton! The flywheel it solid steel. Best get one second hand, sooo much cheaper and it will probably never really have been used.
