Question

You lot all seem pretty well gadgetted up, so are they any good?? Just had a look at a few but whats the difference between the Braun,Phillips,Sonicare etc??

Just get a Colgate Actibrush. About a tenner, and they work a treat. Don't bother with the ones with rechargeable batteries, as they go off after a year or so.

Got a Braun normal and 3D. 3D is WAY better. NB, got it when it was half price at Boots before last Christmas!

Might be true about batteries though...

Just bought one today as it happens

A Crest Spinbrush - looks the same as the Colgate one but only 3.99 from Superdrug - bargin, it even comes with batteries, and look how clean my teeth are now

My last Braun went for about 4 years before it started needing charging every other day. Only prob with them is the replacement heads. Always buy them when on special offer - even then its around £15.99 for 9 (3 x 3 packs buy 3 pay for 2 at Boots, Superdrug etc). Then again thats probably cheaper than 9 manual toothbrushes (good quality ones not Safeway super saver before MarkO suggests it).

Sonicare for me. It may be expensive, but you're not wearing your gums away while you brush.

sonicare is fantastic.

It taked about 2 weeks before it really works on full power, and before you stop laughing because it really tickes your mouth!
