So, who thinks we need a plumbing forum then?

Or possibly, and there may be some mileage in this, a DIY/home forum?
Nick.

Thumbs up

Nick, why? is this anything to do with your latest domestic project and do you forsee yourself having a few problems??

FWIW I think it's a good idea as we're launching ourselves into a massive DIY programme in our house, I've already tackled the rewiring in the kitchen and so far it still hasn't burnt down

Thinking back, there have been quite a few DIY House threads in the past. Nick certainly seems to be doing quite a bit at the moment as well, so hence his interest.

I am also doing alot, come to think of it, way too much, completely renovating a house!

I think people would learn from our experiences, and we could also learn of the pors that post on here.

Sal, we are just doing the front half of the house at the moment, and living in the back half, then when thats done, we will swap round and then thats when the fun starts.

Why did i ever buy this place, 150 year old cottage that has not had a single thing done to it in 50 years, except for a few 6" nails in strategic places

Why oh why.

Seriously if its a going, i would like to moderate it (if i am allowed), and think david wallis also has a vast amount of experience at the DIY scene

Heres hoping

Ah, you're just power crazed like all of us Steve

Will mention it to Simon. No doubt he'll use the parent trick of saying "we'll see".

so if we get enough response to this thread (or maybe a better titled one!!!!) then....... we'll see

cheers

Sure thing, where's most appropriate? Here or general?

Also, note that Steve's already started another one (anyone interested...)
