Could help sort out your Aylesbury valves from your Surrey flanges.
Any tips on how to stop it raining at the weekend so I can my extension finished?
Go for it.
Oops - missed the corner. Still a good whack with a hammer should fix that.

Well, when I go to the toilet....
I stand there thinking "When will I get the house finished?" as I look at the wall with the missing tiles and the lack of carpet...
You lot with the smutty minds.... I don't know...
Seriously, we're planning a new heating system, a new kitchen and a new bathroom (with large jacussi (sp?) bath). (already have a nice high power shower in the other bathroom )
Lots of plans, and not enough cash to finish it yet.

Top tip for that one is.
..dont start it until you know you will be able to finish it
Easy to say, but VERY VERY hard to do!
The front half of my house has no plaster on walls, no stairs (using a ladder at the mo, which is not funny when you fall off the top step when pi55ed), just put new solid wood door and frame in at the weekend, three sash windows waiting to go in, stairs to make and fit, rewiring of that half has been done, in a day, with the help of David Wallis, etc...
need to do all this before christmas or else, our 2 sons have been living at our parents for the last 6 weeks non stop, which is making Emma cross.
We were going to leave it till after christmas, but emma got cross with the neighbour and decided to start kangoing the plaster off the walls during the day, as he works night shifts
Its an 150 year old cottage, so things must be in keeping as well. The hardest thing for me, as i always try to get things perfect, is the fact that nothing is level or straight. So i build level and then it looks crap, throw it together and it looks good!
Why oh Why did i start!
Will post some pics if people want

Go on then Steven. Wouldn't mind seeing some pics.
I'm working on my second house now, and I'm not enjoying it as much as the first one. (didn't have a Scoob then ) So maybe a bit of inspiration wouldn't go amiss.
I'll get there in the end! I'm refusing to do central heating in the winter, so I don't want to decorate anything and then have to smash it up again... Hence we live in a bit of a tip!
