Brush or Sponge?
#1
Guys,
it's that time of year again, my Evo seems to get impossibly dirty despite the fact that it's washed weekly. My normal routine is to jet wash any loose dirt off, then tackle the rest with the old bucket and sponge. Is this the best way? I'm always worried that any grit that gets trapped in the sponge will scratch the paintwork. I have been considering one of those hose brushes with a shampoo resevoir. My idea is that as water is continually pouring from the brush, it should wash any grit away before it does any harm.
I know this isn't exactly one of the most exciting posts, but has anyone got any experience of brushes? Are they kind to the paintwork or are the bristles abrasive ?

I use a jetwash and a sponge. I haven't had any problems with this combination. I did spend a month or so (prior to the jetwash) looking for decent (soft) briush but couldn't find one.
