Christmas sprit is alive and well...

'tis the season to be jolly, tra la la la laaa, tra la la laaa...
I went into a local shop to buy some decorations. They were some gold angels on string to hang from the curtain poles. We bought a couple last year and wanted two more for the dinning room. Anyway, they are only £3.99 each so I asked for 2, which the lady wrapped and I handed over my card. "Sorry, we don't take cards" said the lady. "There's a cashpoint next door". I looked in my wallet and found that I had left my card at home. I only had £5 in cash and asked when they would be open in the morining. Unfortunaly I would not have been able to make it, so I explained this and was on the point of saying "sorry, I'll have to leave it", when the lady said "Oh, go on, I'll give you them for £5". I said that I would post the balance through the door when I was next passing and she said with a smile "well, if you do, you do, but you don't need to"
