Star Trek - Nemesis

Okay, I have to admit, I am a closet Trekkie.
This looks good, I am certainly looking forward to seeing it in the cinema.........has anyone seen it yet?
Also, tonight's "Have I Got News For You" was particularly entertaining with the beloved Clarkson in the driving seat.
I am now waiting for the Jonathon Ross programme to come on as I notice that the wonderful EDDIE IZZARD is on tonight. He should wipe the floor rather easily with Ross.
I listened to Eddie on Radio 1 yesterday afternoon, highly entertaining.
I wonder when he is touring next?

I am only a closet Trekkie, I don't go out on the streets in my captains' suit. Well not normally...........
I am LMFAO at the Jonathon Ross show, if you aren't watching it, fecking switch it on. Eddie Izzard is on next.
Woohoo.

The Doves are band of the Year IMO! The Fear is an amazing record!
I can't believe I turned down the chance to see them live
Anyway, Star Trek?! That is soo funny! I would never have seen you as a star trek fan

Why not? You know I like Science Fiction, I am surprised that you didn't put two and two together.
My brother got to meet the Doves before the release of their fist album - he has their autographs on a poster.

Some of it is enjoyable, but lets be honest it's a science fiction soap. For some real stuff William Gibson, Ray Bradbury, Philip K.Dick are the books to read IMO.

Everybody knows that, but it is just an attractive series.
I don't watch it religiously every time it is on, but I do enjoy it if I can catch it on the TV. I much prefer the films.
I haven't read any of those authors' books, I tend to read more of the fantasy type genre of books......

The closest I thought you got to Science Fiction, was taking that clanger thingy down the pub, like you did in that thread
You haven't seen my 300 odd novels at hime - or my Trekkie suits ............I AM JOKING AT THAT POINT.....

If there were real monsters then it wouldn't be Star Trek would it?
That would be blasphemy to the original series where they were known for always landing at the same spot, with the same five stones - but in different positions and their assailants would be dodgy humanoids.
The guy with the crusty head? I think the doc needs to sort something out for the poor guy, he must feel so self conscious about it all the time.

Space............The Final Frontier...........these are the voyages of the Starship Enterprise.........
Captain stardate - 20,034, part B, entry ii, minus a day plus a couple of hours.
"My goodness, we have just been overtaken by a scoob at light speed........albeit, we were in the twisties and the Enterprise doesn't corner too well"

The general concensus is that even numbered Star Trek films are pretty good & the odd numbered are terrible, this one is number 6 so make your own choice.
BTW Chelle your local GP should be able to give you something for that
