Can you be done if the camera flashes you when you are heading towards it on the opposite side of the road?

If it's a true GATSO, then nope. You're out of shot in one picture.

Seconded. Had it happen to me recently in Cornwall. Shat meself for three weeks when the postman came (cue double entendres )

What i'd like to know, is if Gatsos will ever be able to catch you if you're approaching them rather than passing them...??

What i'd like to know, is if Gatsos will ever be able to catch you if you're approaching them rather than passing them...??
I was once told (by the copper that runs Speed cameras in Plymouth) that they can take pictures in either direction. Its only UK legislation that prevents it.

From what I was led to believe, it was something to do with a road-safety thing, ie) not having the flash blinding the driver - hence the use of IR flash with Truvelo.
