I think your mate's gonna need more than £500. Unless someone is gonna educate me on this subject, i would say a hell of a lot more.

Brun - he has found a couple for £500 though the screen size is 16" & he wants a little bigger than that.

Thanks Carl.

For 500 quid you'll possibly get one of the worste/smalles TV screens in the world..... you'll have to have your nose pressed against it to see it from the back of the bedroom

Dixons are doing 32" Flat screens for 1500quid.... tell him to hold out for a bit, would hate for him to waste 500spankies

Surely you don't mean 32" flat screen plasmas for £1500 at Dixons? That's the going rate for some 32" 'flat' CRTs.

I was down Cribbs Causway earlier in the week and was looking at the Plasma screens in there, going price for something of a decent size was £2500
To be hoest though I didn't think much of the picture quality at all, bit like me, very fuzzy

some of the 'cheaper' plasmas out there are the end of the firt gen. units
they could have a dual use !! you could also fry an egg on the ******* 'cos they burn so hot !!!

IMHO there are only 2 ways of getting plasmas

time : bide your time (ie years)
money : spend more to get better

they are though arent they !!

Alders in Coventry were/are selling plasmas worth £5000 for £900 (don't know make or size etc) over the weekend. They had Q's round the block.

Maybe try your local one?
Hope this helps Matt
