This winter I will mostly be found in St Anton Austria!

I have been on the reserve list for work since November and got a phone call on christmas eve telling me I am off on the 29th till hopefully the end of April!!

Has anyone ever been there before? Wanted to get some boots but not sure how pricy it is out there?

You're likely to find them cheap over here, or over there, as the season is coming to and end, here especially. Look for bargains b4 you go if you can be bothered to take them with you.
Sorry if this is teaching you to suck eggs, but when you go to try them on, make sure you wear, or take with you to put on, whatever type of sock you intend to wear over there.

I've just booked to go to St Anton for a week on the 19th Jan. I haven't been Skiing for 3 years so I'm really looking forward to it now

I've not been to St Anton before but my sister has. She says the Skiing is great and there is some fantastic nightlife as well

Went there 2 years ago when close friends of ours got married on holiday. Fantastic place - great skiing (something for all abilities) but you will need loads of stamina - lees to do with the skiing and more to do with the nightlife. You must check out the Krazy Kangeroo for apres ski. Girls walking round with bottles of liquor pouring the contents down the throats of unsuspecting guests - bloody marvellous!

great ski-ing and good nightlife, not the easiest resort in
Austria to earn to ski in......skied there 2 days last year when we were in Lech for the week. Have spent a week in St Anton before and also a week in St Christof. One of the largets ski areas. Bit too young for me on the nightlife front now
