Right i am coming to purchase one now. I have lost a previous mail with a load of links to bike shops online, so can anyone help me out ?
I am looking at an Elite fluid-based trainer as follows. Anyone had any experience with this or any others ?

I do not have experience with one of those, but I do have a cateye cyclosimulator, it is now six years old, and bar a new cable for the magnet has never failed me, all I did was remove the fan to make the pedaling smooth and use the variable magnet as my resistance.
For accurate power measurements I use a set of srm cranks.

I have a cylceops fluid rollers.
works well for me - as smooth as a road i reckon.
i bought it from the local bike shop.
200 n something quid i think - was about 5 years ago.
not failed me so far - and i have been flat out in top gear a few times to simulate a sprint.
got high enough (adjustable) resistance range to knacker me![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
