I have recentely purchased a digital camera and if possible would like to save images onto a CD so that they can be viewed as a slide show via a DVD on a standard TV.

Does anyone know how this can be done?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Yep

I did this for my Sister's Vegas wedding photos, with some cheesy Vegas tunes on

I used Roxio CD Creator, and chose photo cd

worked a treat and dead easy to use

Both of these are supposed to be pretty good according to one of the digital camera mags

Uleads 'DVD Picture Show' http://www.ulead.com/dps/runme.htm

and Magixs' 'Photos On DVD And CD' http://usa.magix.com/index.php?id=234

Both are available from PC World at < £30.

Easier than trying to use Nero or Easy CD as with those it's important to get the structure correct on CD when you burn it or it won;t work. These 2 programmes do the whole lot for you plus you can add background music, slide transitions, menus etc.

I was going to choose the Magix one as Ulead you can only have 99 photos per show but you can have more than one show per CD.

Remember that the DVD player you want to play them on needs to be VCD & CDR/CDRW compatible.

Cheers

Mark
