Texting on O2?!

Are anyone else having trouble texting from their mobiles on o2?!
I've been getting all of these Happy new year texts, and my phone won't let me reply to them. It just comes up "Try again later", and i've been trying from midnight up til now!

Its simple, the network was never designed to take everyones text at once so its clogged, it will take a while for it to sort its self out (ie when people stop texting 
) but apart from that..... shouldnt be any problems (and all the networks would have suffered the same fate as they do at this time every year).

However i have just sent a load from the O2 site okay.
I had a simialr problem last year when i had to call O2 and change the text centre number?........or something like that.
Any idea?

Mines a bit spannered too.
When I send a text out to someone on my O2 moby, they can never reply straight away. They have to wait about 5 minutes until they can reply.....sometimes it's just damn quicker to ring
But if anyone knows why it's so naff I would love to know
