I'm tearing my hair out over this now!! I can't decide which phone to get. I have a Nokia 3310 at the mo but it's knackard and I need a new one. I've narrowed it down to 2. Nokia 5510 (i'm a text addict!) or a Samsung A300 (pictures below). I would actually like one of those phones that they used in The Matrix but can't find one anywhere!
Please help!!

Cant remember the exact model of Nokia they used in the Matrix. A lot of people thought it was the 7710 as it had a flip release for the keyboard cover. The 7710 was a great phone but a little dated now. You might find them on Ebay etc.

The Matrix phone was a 8110 with a custom spring mechanism that the 7110 had. It was never sold to the public

Best phone I have seen recently is the Sharp vodafone are using to promote Vodafone Live [MMS etc bundle]. Clearest screen ever.
I use a T68i. Superb phone but colour screen nowhere near as good as Sharp.
If you can wait there will be some great phones coming ...

T100 does have pants battery life. Although you do get a spare battery with it. I have T68i and I dont use half the features. My girlfriend has the T100 and I prefer it for day to day usage, apart from the battery. It lasts 2-3 days tops. T68i lasts about 6 days.

I bought a Panasonic GD87 connected to Vodafone Live built in camera, SMS,MMS full colour screen. Very easy to use with colour icons similar to a pc running ms outlook with in and out boxes for mail.

south-star - the T100 is reknowned for having a pants battery. Maybe if you havent had a phone with a decent battery then it wont be so obvious. My girlfriend charges hers twice for every once I charge mine.
Im not saying its a bad phone - in fact I love it. Its just that is one of its poorer features.

P1.....my battery last around three days on average. The thing is..
1.Ypu get a second battery
2.Its only a 2 hour charge
3.Whenever i get in my car if its low i just put it on charge,
...so yes,you may have to charge/change it more often, but IMO so what?......maybe its the price you pay for such a slim phone.
Its just not a big issue for me.

Thanks everyone! I've actually plumped for the Samsung A300. I really needed a phone and it was the best one I could get hold of on 02 (I've got a Genie simcard on contract with a brilliant deal and didn't want to change!)!! The phone is actually really good. I used to charge my battery every night anyway (cause it was pants) so the battery life of this will make no difference! I've got the hang of using it already so it must be alright!!!!
It was also about the only one I could afford at the min!
