Yeah but there are 2-3 of us buying them. We all live on top of miles and miles of army common and it's almost 2 FEET LONG

Yeah...they were mad. It works out so much cheaper to get one from the states (£220 saving)

The trouble is it is 2-6 weeks delivery.

It's a pretty forgone conclusion but I just wanted to see if anyone else had one and if so what problems they might have had.

For a start they have no reverse gear. I know that I can buy a reverse module etc.

I just don't want to spend all my time retrieving it from under hedges.

i just had a butchers at some vids of these things on the http://www.hpiracing.com/index2.htm site, they looks the b0ll0cks.

are you buying from tower hobbies?

will you have to pay any import duty?

Yes I am getting it from there. No there is no import duty due as far as I am aware. If anyone knows different I would appreciate it.

Total cost is £261 for the complete kit and £35 shipping. The only downside is the time it will take to get here.

I'm going to New York at the end of February. It might be worth getting one while I am there and bringing it back in a holdall as hand luggage. The only problem there would be the US customs/security ripping it apart.

i dont think you'd get one of those in a plane locker, the box will be humungous.

Plus it comes fully built but by the time US customs had finished with it then it would be a kit again.....
