No, i dont have the answer, thats why i put it on here ![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Jack and his friend Bob one day find themselves washed up on an island. They dont know how they got there, or where they are. They're very tired from whatever journey they've been on, so they just pass out. When Jack wakes up, he is tied to a steak and sees Bob next to him tied to one too, only Bob is still unconscious. Jack passes out again. When he next wakes up, there are many dark-skinned men trying to feed him what looked like a bird that they called "alkatrazz". He was hungry, but he didnt see Bob next to him anymore. He figured Bob was being fed someplace else, and he went ahead and ate the food. It was VERY tasty...
He then passes out again, and he wakes up someplace near his home. He is FAMISHED! He walks to a deli, and looks at a menu. He sees "alkatrazz" on it. He thinks "god it was good on the island.. i'll get it here too". He gets his food, takes one bite, walks outside, and kills himself. why did he kill himself?

When the man was on the island there were only (Alcatrazz) albatross and people. "Alcatrazz" / albatross is a large bird that is hard to catch, so the chef would give the men people to eat and say it was Albatross. Well, when the man tasted the alcatrazz from the deli it didn't taste anything like what he had eaten on the island so he realised that he had eaten his mate and couldn't live with that burden.

Hold on, hold on, i still have issues with the first riddle.
Why did the natives feed Jack with Bob?
If they were cannibals, wouldn't they have just eaten them both? Why would they have kept Jack alive and not Bob?
If they weren't cannibals, why did they kill Bob at all, and not just feed them both whatever they ate themselves?

TelBoy -- you are Gareth Keenan and I claim my five pounds ![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
BTW the spelling confused me in the original problem. It was only after the solution was posted that I realized it meant "tied to a stake". I wondered where the joint of beef came into it![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)

Further to TelBoy doubts,
How come they are washed up on an island one minute, and then after being fed, Jack suddenly wakes up near his home? Not only did the cannibals (possibly) feed him Bob, but they took him nearly all the way home.
And if I'd just been washed up on a cannibal inhabited island and then suddenly found myself near home, I wouldn't go wandering off to a deli...

The Offical Fish Answer Explanation.
First you remove the skin.
Then you cook the fish.
Then you eat the flesh.
Then you throw away the internal bones.
How can it be sweetcorn Jason?

Ok. It could be sweetcorn, if you count the covering leaves as the "outside".
But thinking more, it could also be a lot of foodstuffs with a carcass.
Maybe there's more to it than this, even though our answers "work".
Is there a published answer?
