Anyone who uses their computer alot may have had this. I'm heavily into Environmental auditing, and as such use a laptop, PC etc virtually all the time, except to signature reports for authenticity and agreement.
Well, today the old laptop finally died a miserable death, and I had to go back to the old fashioned pen and paper exercise. Jeezus!!! My hand-writing is barely readable even to me, the notes are a mess, took me twice as long fumbling with damn clipboards, and most insulting is my hand is bloody aching. I've even got a small blister on my the side of my thumb!!
Its made me realise that with all this technology I've forgotten how to actually write!!! Everything is usually just my signature.

I've used computers exclusively for the past 13 years.
Only time I write anything normally is to sign a cheque or letters.
However, once a year I have to fill in my annual report form by hand. OK, I only need to write about 20 small paragraphs but it takes forever and I have to rest my hand in between. I also end up with a sore finger where the pen has rubbed. How sad is that ?
Also, I cannot spell anymore. I'm fine on computers because I can check afterwards, but while writing by hand I'm terrible. I used to be excellent.
I've also noticed recently that although I can read words fine, I sometimes have problems reading them out. I.e. words I can pronounce 'in my head' no problem, I have trouble actually pronouncing out loud.
Others I work with have also noticed this and suggest all of it may be down to using computers exclusively and may be a very mild form of dyslexia or similar condition.
Cheers

I wish I had the time to give it some exercise. ![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
The only exercise it gets most days it writing code and doing maths, so I can write some code. I'm sure that isn't really giving the grey stuff a full workout though![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
