Yep, 'tis a bird of the pelican variety, but yes it does look like a monster. When I was in Florida these things are like the equivalent of sea gulls over here, they are everywhere and can be a right pest at times.
You don't want to be in the water when these things are coming down for feeding time, they hit the water at some speed and its very dangerous if you are swimming or windsurfing when these babies start dive bombing

Yep, pteradactyl.
Looks like the cloned dinosaur escaped from Isla Sorna and meandered it's way to Columbia's left wing and pecked a few of the tiles before being toasted on lift-off.
