Apologies to anyone connected with the company, but if i ever see something made by CarPlan, i just move on down the shelf. If ever products didn't work very well, these are them, in my humble little opinion.
What else is avoided?
Wynn's? That always looks a bit dodgy. Who uses that?
Comma?
Molyslip?

Redex -- never did nothing for any vehicle!
Never used Wynns but used to use STP oil treatment in
an old MGB. Helped keep up the oil pressure, and oil
consumption went down from 400 miles per pint to 1000mpp.

Made the mistake of picking up some Car Plan de-icer the other day (I knew it was going to snow, and that was the only stuff they had in Sainsburys). What idiot designs a de-icer aerosol that sends out a jet instead of a spray?
You have to use half a can to de-ice the windscreen.
Back to the Halfords Heavy Duty screen deicer in the environmentally-friendly spray bottle, I think![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Edit: Agree about Champion -- I've always (even pre-Scoob) used NGKs.
And "Holts Gun Gum" -- I've never got the stuff to successfully plug a leak![Frown](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)

Have to disagree on Champion plugs -- use their gold-palladium plugs all the time in my bike after having a spate of duff NGKs ...
but deffo agree on Holts Gun Gum. It once fixed an exhaust hole for 2.3 seconds before being fired out of the hole ....

Cherry Bomb exhausts look a bit suspect, as do a number of other 'Halfords' exhaust products (Jetex, Devil, etc.). Absolutely anything made by Foliatec, Richbrook or RGM (Richard Grant Mouldings). Wheels made by Fox or Mille Miglia. Tyres made by General, Marshall, BF Goodrich, Firestone, Kleber and Hankook (Fulda are a bit dodgy too). Definitely tyres made by Semperit or Champiro. Cannon car mats (cut to size, and end up with a tiny little bit of carpet surrounded by loads of rubber
). Socket sets made by people you've never heard of (I had a cheap one once, but it's run out of sockets to shatter now).
Surprisingly, though, I used Slick 50 once and was well pleased with the results. Ran the car for another 60k miles before selling it with no problems.

That Mr Muscle stuff did nothing for me. I lost weight before I realised it was an oven cleaner.![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Won't touch Firestone or BF tyres.
