Question

Mornin'

I know some of you lot have the R/C bug and have scooby R/C cars. Long before I had the scooby I got a koyosho petrol engined R/C delta integrale. Totall cool, have had lots of fun with it.

however, the problem is, and has been, for the last few years, that the pull starter on the engine broke, I tool pull started off and simply cut and reattached the handle (the string simply broke) however since then whenever I start the engine it spits off the pull starter, which leaves the engine open, which then stalls.

I don' t think it's fixable, so a new engine would be nice.

don't suppose anyone has a spare working engine lying around, or can tell me some good R/C sites or places to contact about getting a new engine.

Would love to get it up and running as Ali (youngest girlie) is into her R/C cars and I'd love to show her the 'grale and let her have a play with it, as it's top fun.

should have got the leccy 4x4 cosworth instead.

RC engines vary enormously and I suspect the engine you have is actually an os 11 which is based on an aero engine.

It sounds to me like there is no problem with your engine, what you really need is a new pull starter.

Contact the appropriate dealer and tehy should help you.

Mail order is the way so location is irrelevant. Give them as much info as you can, and they can source teh bits.

Try wheelspin models in southend

or morley models inleeds 0113 2522639

Good luck.
