Iraq - It's Infrastructure of Concealment, Deception and Intimidation
#1
Anyone else read the "dossier" that is in the news at the moment???
It should read "Tony and Dubya's Infrastructure of Concealment, Deception and Intimidation"
The supposedly official and brand new document can be found at http://www.number-10.gov.uk/output/Page7111.asp, and the plagiarised source of most of the contents (from 12 or more years ago!) is at http://meria.idc.ac.il/journal/2002/issue3/jv6n3a1.html.
B.Liar's credibility took several steps downwards yesterday on the Newsnight program, but now he is really trawling the depths!!!

Maybe it is a very clever double bluff from Iraq. They find a 12 year old document detailing deception and concealment and copy the process. Now if anyone refers to their method they look a bit daft as they appear to be copying a 12 year old paper.
Or maybe it is all propagande and bill ****.

Pete,
i take it that you have read both documents (19 pages and 14 pages) and compared the various sections??
Sure Tonybabe didn't write it, but he did use it as ammunition in his speech in the House of Commons on Monday the 3rd of February for justifying war with Iraq (see http://www.number10.gov.uk/output/Page7121.asp. Isn't it reassuring to know that our Prime Minister truly believes such crap :rollyes:

No I havent read the documents - dont have to, we are going to kick Saddams 4rse in any case. I dont necessarily agree that we should mind you!! We need to get the PR rolling much better than we have.
BUT, is Saddam an evil dictator?? Yes.
Did he kill his OWN women and children? Yes.
Is he a threat to the Middle East if he gets even ONE Nuke?? Yes.
Does he need to be removed? Yes.
Does it take leaders with ***** to do it?? Yes.
Will you get those with no guts crying that you shouldnt do it? Yes.
Do you do it anyway to save the world from a worse fate? Yes.
So to the Lily Livered Liberals - Shut Up and Back Our Forces!!

Keeping emotion and conjecture aside, do you believe that the UK should keep to its international obligations?
Do you believe that the UK/USA should launch an attack in opposition of the United Nations?
I agree that Saddam Hussein is an evil man. However, the will of the community needs to prevail. If Tony Blair has a credible arguement, then let us hear it. I've certainly not heard it so far.
If the UN votes for a war, then I would support it. Until such time, though, I am against it.
Whatever the UN decides, I believe two factors are the main influences. Oil and a failing domestic economy (UK and USA).

"No I havent read the documents - dont have to"
So why on earth reply to a topic that you have no knowledge of??
"BUT, is Saddam an evil dictator?? Yes."
Probably
"Did he kill his OWN women and children? Yes."
Reports suggest that this is true.
"Is he a threat to the Middle East if he gets even ONE Nuke?? Yes."
If anyone gets even ONE Nuke they are a threat - to the Middle East and the world as a whole. Guess who has the most Nukes (clue, he has a W in his name)???
"Does he need to be removed? Yes."
Probably
"Does it take leaders with ***** to do it?? Yes."
No, it takes leaders with intelligence. Dubyas ***** are probably the smallest you can get, but he does have an awful lot of hardware around them!
"Will you get those with no guts crying that you shouldnt do it? Yes."
Of course, it is a free world (at least in our bit )
"Do you do it anyway to save the world from a worse fate? Yes."
Would you like to explain what this "worse fate" is?
"So to the Lily Livered Liberals - Shut Up and Back Our Forces!!"
I wonder how many of our forces actually support the war??
