A friend at work has just had two gatso tickets throught and if they go ahead it would mean 12 points on thier liecence.
Thier Partner hasd offered to take the balme for 1 fine and take the 3 points on thier lience.

I won't even take the blame if I did it, let alone take the fall from someone else..

Bloke at work who sits opposite me had his wife take his points so he could keep a clean license I don't understand why he would do that though. If I was in that situation then yes I would take the points for my fiancee (And I don't mean a swap)

best thing to do is get a dead relatives name, or someones(a friend) who lives abroad to admit it for you, if they have a american license or a non uk one all they get is a fine.

great isnt it, why does anyone admit liability!!

If you give the name of someone who is not insured for the vehicle, and the case is actually investigated (which I admit is unlikely), you will be adding another host of offences to the original speeding offence for both parties.

If I did it for my other half I'd get banned whereas she has no points at all (despite breaking the speed limit all the time ) - so NO!!

Talking

My loving wife took the rap for my last NIP
There's no excuse not to as it was primarily to keep our insurance premiums down.

Paul

PS Any coppers reading this, we couldn't be sure which one of us was actually driving at the time
