Supercharger Dyno Results
#1
As some of you know, I'm having my Lotus Exige Supercharged. This is the first Exige TurboTechnics have ever Supercharged (hopefully kicking out 330BHP/Tonne)
Here are the dyno results I've just received.
Key info:
Maximum Power: 261 BHP @ 6750 rpm
Maximum Torque: 206 lb/ft @ 6000 rpm
TurboTechnics hope to improve on these figures by modifications to the chargecooling and some adjustments to fuelling at higher rpm.
WOW !!!
There's an Excel file detailing it all

Mental
Not sure on Exige stats but what's that compare to on a power/weight ratio? What's the gain (appart from grin ) on standard?
It's gonna be awesome. When's your next trackday & can I have a ride
Wonder whether I can buy a Supercharged Exige without the wife knowing

Standard Exige is 177bhp (220 bhp/tonne)
So I'll be gaining another 110bhp/tonne
0-60 will drop from 4.7 to around the 4-dead mark, and 0-100 will come up in sub 10 (from 13 seconds)
Mid-range torque is improved too.
And yes, you can have a ride if there's a spare seat.

The driveability and rolling road work is on target for being completed the week commencing 9th July.
So.. 2 weeks
PS. Just noticed the ambient temperature for the dyno run was 27C (quite warm), so I'd imagine to see higher figures on a cooler day.

You nutter - you are certifiable.
If you manage to get your other half out of the passenger seat, I'd like to book a circuit too
Nick.
(still grinning at the memory of being taken around donington in the "slow" version - cheers for that )
