..............and the odd picture here and there, i'm thinking of buying a cheap Digital camera. (i mean really cheap)
I have found one in Makro for £34.99 + vat. Can't remember what make it is, but it has a 1.6" screen on the back and can do pics upto 1.3 megapixel. I know the info is a bit vague, but does it sound like it could do the trick for me?

Talking

Buy cheap, buy twice....
My brov bought a cheapy digital camera, ended up taking it straight back for a refund as the picture quality was a joke.

For that price expect a very poor lens.

Better off trying to get a reputable make on the 2nd hand market, I sold my Kodak DC210 for about £100 last year, as new models come out the market value of the old ones falls very quickly.

My advice would be to get some sample pictures of it, or make sure you can get a refund if you're not happy with it.

Thumbs down

1.3mp is crap, not even worth it. You want at least two, otherwise picture quality is just rubbish. But i suppose if you want one for that price, the example that you have given is all right.

If the purpose is to get pictures staright onto the web as quickly and as cheaply as poss then 1.3 Mega pixels is fine IMHO.
