Hi guys,

I will be going to a concert in Milton Keynes, and I was looking for advice on parking (I know the police will control traffic and guide people), but its always nice having extra info

How far is the bowl from the M1 ?

I think 2 hours should be enough time from Derby to get there?

Cheers,

J.

I had thought about training it.. but the train takes 2.5 - 3 hours.. and involves changes.. not good knowing train companies

Best thing to do is park in the railway station car park and jump on a coach to the bowl.

As you are coming south, one option is to come off at M1 J18 and use the A5. Then come off the A5 at the "Central Milton Keynes" junction which is right by the railway station.

If you go down the M1 to J14, the Police normally "shepherd" the traffic and some pretty horrible queues build up!

Thanks

Gavin

Firefox,

Mail me offline at aootam@netscape.net if you want to know where to park, that's easy to walk to the bowl from and the car will be safe.

I know MK well and can give you some pointers.

regards,

Anil.

P.S. Not the Robby concert by any chance is it?

Welcome to park it at my house, about a mile away, and give you a lift up, if its a Saturday, afraid all other days I'll be in Sunny Solihull.
