Has anyone else ordered one from http://www.snooper.co.uk ?
Mine's been on order for about a month now : I've been given about 3 duff delivery dates and still haven't received it.
Anyone else having the same problem ? Is it just me, or is this company useless ?

I ordered an SLD920 diffuser from them last year and had the same sort of service from them.
If I was you I'd cancel your order and buy from elsewhere. I told them that was what I wanted to do and funnily enough it arrived within 2 days.

MJW, same problems as you!. After 3 delivery dates, I spotted the group buy on here, so I cancelled my order with Performance products and ordered mine from Networx last Friday. It arrived yesterday - Great! Until I tried to register it
Just got off the phone to Performance Products, seems mine is one of the second batch of them and they cannot be used so its going back for a software fix and I should get it back at the end of next week ![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)
So having paid £450 for the unit on the 10th Jan I should actually be able to use it by the end of Feb. Really not impressed so far, might try and cancell it and get the Road Angel instead.

TaviaRS I hope you get on better with the Road Angel than I did. Owned it for 3 weeks, had to return it to Morpheous 3 times (at my cost) and it still didn't work so I sent it back to Networx for a refund.
I'm having to wait till next month before getting the Snooper which up until this 2nd batch business I hadn't heard a bad thing about it. Plus it does radar detection, something the RA doesn't.

I cancelled my order with the worse-than-useless www.snooper.co.uk and have ordered one from another firm. Been told it'll be delivered tomorrow, so here's hoping ..

Matt,
RoadAngel is made by Blackspot not Morpheus, Morpheus is a different GPS device which one do you have? Radar/laser detection will be soon available for the RoadAngel, along with the GPS output for route planning I can't see any reason to go for another make IMO.
Si.

Boost II
Its fan bl00dy tastic, best thing I have seen in a longtime, is superb.
Went round a local area notorious for hand held lasers and mobile vehicles with cameras, picked them all up............
Truvellos, SPECS and Gatsos you can set for 1000m warning, if you speed it warns you audibly and flashes red, if you do the right speed just get the visual warning.
A magnificent piece of kit................

I got mine from Snooper.com or whatever it is, the company is called Intranetics. I had brilliant service from a girl called Carly.
Here are her details - Carly Bickley Sales Administrator Snooper Radars Direct From Intranetics Ltd Grundey Street Stockport SK7 4EU 0161 456 3000 0161 456 5000 carly@intranetics.co.uk
They will do it for £450 delivered for Scoobynetters, tell her you were passed on by Stu.
I would say, to be fair, the delay may be them saving you the trouble of sending a faulty one back by not sending them out.
Best of luck - It's well worth the wait.

I ordered a Snooper S6 R neo from networx yesterday, the guy I spoke with, as recommended under the 'group buy' was up front with me and said it would be a week before I got it as there had been a problem batch, should have it next Friday.

Well I finally got mine, and there's no probs with GPS detection of fixed camera sites, and the laser detector seems to be working ok. But the radar detector part seems a bit over zealous.
This is the first radar detector I've bought though, so don't have much experience of 'em. It seems that K-band alerts come up every few seconds and I wondered if this was normal - ie. interference from auto doors, traffic light sensors etc. I currently have the RLD unit stuck to the windscreen on the rubber suckers, though I've put it on the drivers side with the GPS antenna over at the passenger side. Would the false alarms be considerably reduced by mounting the RLD behind the grille in the engine bay ? Any advice greatly appreciated !

Same problems as you Tavia. Irritating as I was promised a replacemnt would be delivered today but it now seems as though Monday is more likely. Supposedly, it's a good piece of kit but the customer service is not good.

I'm planning on ordering one of these on Monday so any views you new users have of it would be greatly apprieciated.
When you plug the unit in to update it, what number does it dial? just a local rate number? freephone? premium!?

I'm not sure about the phone call price, it takes less than 2 minutes.
Have a look at this http://www.s6neo.co.uk
