dunno mate, i have a protech 1/6th, they are good to drive and easy to work on etc - just got another 1/6 of ebay virtually brand new all in with heavy duty servos £250 - I am using the parts from the two cars to make a twin engined jobbie.

i don't think you'd be upgrading from the kyosho with the 1/10 protech unless you went for the tech pro 4wd mode. TBH , the only reason i bought the protech is because4 it was there for the right money.

how much money are you looking at spending? did you get a decent price for the kyosho?

if speeds your thing get a fusion 80+mph - you need to allow another £30 quid for decent tyres though, and you need a large area to run them, they can be a bit tricky to maintain though because everything is so crammed in.

there's an FG 1/5 here on ebay, I mailed the guy and he will £300 cash, which I diont think is bad. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...tem=3113305283

cheers,

mj.

mj,

I was looking to spend around £250, i only got £140 for my kyosho..

The protech one looks to have a decent engine at 1.1bhp e.t.c plus it has 2 speed..

I thought about a truck or something so i can run it on grass e.t.c... Or something with a bit of ground clearance..

I was not impressed wit the kyosho, especially build quaility or screwing together quality, first run every screw that holds the engine to the car came out, then when i fixed this on the second run the screws to the exhaust manifold came out and knackered the gasket..
