Question

I am opting out of having a company car in July this year when my current lease runs out. The reasons are: I can only get a Vectra diesel and I would love a performance car again.

Can anyone help me with this?

I have £530 a month before tax and am thinking of getting a loan for £15k ish to pay for the car/maybe insurance outright.
Is it worth me doing this or should I go for a PPP?
What should I do I just can't decide?

Then I need to decide on a car. AHHHHH!!! Which has to be under 5 years old. This means if I get a loan over 4 years I can get a 1 year old car? My mind is scrambled.

Has anyone else had similar issues that they don't mind sharing with me?

Why not buy a 1 year old WRX for £14k off me! Then with the other £1k you can insure it and put some go go juice in it!

I did exactly the same thing last year. Bought a Civic Type-R

Quick, new, good for shopping and less of a vandal magnet.

MMMMM Would love a Scoob again, just don't like the new shape.

Dunk, was looking at the Type-R but also the Seat Leon Cupra/Cupra-R.
How are you getting on with yours?
I have driven one and I could not stop grinning.

Steve I can call you and talk through all the finance options for you, as I'm fairly handy with the calculator, I'm even a walking talking encyclopedia of cars, which helps.
Drop me a line to the address in my profile and I will call you. PS I'm not selling anything just incase you are worried..

I've nearly finished paying my loan. 10K over 2 years = 450 per month. So you should be looking ok for 15K over 4 years.
Remember servicing will be approx. 17 gizillion pounds over 4 years and you still need to insure and buy petrol

Steve - The cars great Next door neighbour has the Cupra-R and although its much better equiped with gadgets and leather, its not a performance patch on the CTR.
