Also, it seems as if he is keen to get Ulrika to court (and i would expect Matthew Wright(?) who gave the game away) to publically clear his name.

Doesn't seem right that the blokes can be named but not the women accusers. He's lost his whole career and we still have no idea who she is.

Both should be kept confidential till proven guilty or innocent IMHO. If they're guilty fine - throw the book at them & let them rot - but if not, they shouldn't have their lives trashed on one persons say so.

How do you know??? Have you ever met the man? That’s exactly what the media do to you, they make your mind up for you. They are just a bunch of vultures who don’t think twice about wrecking peoples lives. A few months back they were slaging him off daily and digging up every little scrap of dirt on him and today they love him, what a bunch of hypocritical d!ckheads. He should take them to court after he has named the b!tch who made this pack of lies up.

LOL, Luke. Nothing like trial by the public, eh? The guy's had all charges relating to Ulrika dropped because there wasn't any evidence. He's now had all other charges dropped, and the judge specifically said he could leave the court without a stain on his character.

But of course he's obviously guilty, isn't he - after all, no smoke without fire, and all that, eh?

Give the guy a break. He's not spoken out, defended himself publicly, and there isn't a shred of evidence to indicate that the allegations were anything other than complete fabrications. If he were as bad as he'd been made out to be in the press, at least some of the allegations would have stuck - but they haven't.

Strikes me that he should sue Ulrika, that **** from Five Live, and anyone else who's had a pop. And also he should slap a writ on any of the tw@ts who continue to say "Ah, well, he may have been proven completely innocent by the courts, but it's obvious he did it", etc.

He's innocent. Period.

There were no charges brought from Ulrika the charges were from 2 other women.
Ulrika has never mentioned John Leslie as her rapist so she has nothing to do with the court case.
John Leslie's name was mentioned by Mark Wright who I imagine is a little concerned at the moment.

I wish I knew what to make of this. I'm so undecided. Watching his quite eloquent, emotional and spontaneous speach outside the court after he was aquitted I felt he really did seem sincere. However I just have this doubt. Don't know why.

The only thing we should do is put our trust in the juducial system and take it as red that he is totally innocent of these allegations. If we can't do that, what can we do ??

Very true. However...Our trust in the judicial system has I'm sure you'll agree been sorely tested in recent years and I suppose thats why I have my doubts. But you do have a point.

Regardless of what hes been through recently, I always thought he was quite sleezy on the t.v. Could never understand the fuss about him.

I've got a few friends that work at the BBC and a couple at Granada Television as well. I was told all kinds of stories about John Leslie and met him a couple of times. He seemed like an OK fella to me but then again some of the stories told about him and his comments about some of the girls at the party make me wonder.
I guess he's been found innocent but why the weird attitude to women and all the stories.
Apart from anything the guy got caught with a straw in his nose so he's fcucked either way.

This is the precise problem. Whether or not Leslie did assault someone, whether or not Matthew Kelly did what was alleged, people will ALWAYS say "no smoke without fire" etc etc.

Personally, I'd like to know what the "new evidence" is that the complainant has brought to light.

I think that whatever the public figure, there'll always be people out there saying 'e's a bit dodgy, my mate met him once & didn't like him' etc. etc. Most the time it's probably bullsh*t. I bet there's people you know, working with etc. that would say 'I always knew he was odd' if you got arrested for this that or the other even if you were totally innocent.

The tabloids who exploit this crap are to**ers and so are the people saying 'no smoke without fire' even though they have no idea or evidence about the situation at hand.

Basically, unless you KNOW something and can back it up, then leave the judging to the courts. Also remember Innocent until proven guilty. Put yourself in John Leslies shoes for a second and take a reality check.

I did meet him and describing a woman like a piece of meat isn't normal behaviour as far as I'm concerned. During our conversation he talked about women as "it" and "that" and seemed a bit odd. That doesn't make him a rapist but it is a bit weird don't you think.

As for the Coke, do it by all means just don't get caught when your job is presenting a morning TV show for straightlaced housewives. If everyone involved in Class A's was to be booted out of the media there would be no-one left to report it.
