Last month I posted dyno results of my supercharged Lotus Exige engine on the dyno.

Here are some plots of the TurboTechnics upgrade car on the rolling road - 272bhp equates to around 335/tonne

Here's a comparison of a Std 190 Exige and the TT260 upgrade

Here's an Excel file of the plots

Whaheeey! All you've got to do now is come over to Moose-land and take us for a spin!

Almost broke my chin when it hit the floor the last (and only) time I saw an Exige live. I wonder what will happen when I ever get to sit in one... let alone a supercharged one.

....then again I wouldn't mind a ride in that huge yankee-car beginning with the letter 'E'! some time!

Good to meet you David (way back in June) and thanks for your hospital... no, hostibility... no, hospitality!

Hmmm, how much power do I need to get 335bhp/Tonne?

Hmmm..

Regardless, it looks very impressive.
Tell me, is the car's chassis capable of that much power? If it is (I know it has massive aerodynamic benefits) then it would be a tool to be reckoned with.

Evo is about 1400kg.. so you're looking at ~470bhp to have the same power/weight.

As for the chassis.. hmm.. good question !

Dunno yet, still work-in-progress.

However, the car doesn't weigh any more, so it should handle like it did before, and as you can see from the torque curves it's pretty linear, pegging a similar curve to the std. car.

I'll keep you posted of upcoming trackdays if you want a ride.
