I will be on MyWorld (note it is named after me, not Stevesworld) for both sessions and I will kick your ***. I shouldn't be able to miss you with a bighead shot!

I plan to be on tonight for a bit, had a 2 on 2 on Countermaps last night for about an hour, but ICQ didn't connect apparently.

I'll check for activity on Mike's server too.

Barrysworld - how to join?

Looked for ages for STi or Scoobynet or anything similar - may just be being blind

Or do I (as realisation may be beginning to dawn) join as an indevidual & then get assimilated into the STi clan?

If I can sort this hurdle I'll be there

Still often find that if I go a-roamin' for action then I find nice fun servers, but people still manage to kill me on a reaction shot & generally my ping is below 100 & theirs nearer 250 I know beer doesn't help

 

puff : yes join BW as indiviudal post / mail / icq me your name and i'll invite you into the STi fold ! and get icq running - v useful.

I have amended our team so we are "recruiting". On Barrysworld you can search for teams that are recruiting. We are under "S", we are Scoobynetters.

The rest is follow the instructions. You need to register as a user then make up a player alias. eg. [STi]PTMW before you can do the above.

Sunday is the best time for me as Friday and Saturday are usually splashed with beer. The other five days I work shifts 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm so I could be stuck at work .

Sunday would have to be evening, probably after 7.

Until Autumn/Winter comes, I cannot play in the afternoon at all because I can't see a thing on the screen most of the time, if it's a bright day.

 

Doubt I'll be able to make this one.

Like Neal, I would prefer Sunday evening rather than Fri/Sat.

anyone else got thoughts on maps........i know i would vote for 747 cos i think its a gr8 map even though i know it seems to be unpopular with a lot of people for some reason ?

Re Maps

Current favourite is Aztec

More than Happy with Dust/Dust2/Militia/Inferno/prodigy/italy/747/Siege/Assault(Haven't tried Assault 2K yet)

Rotterdam is OK with plenty of people.

Pet hate is Office. But there aren't any I won't play (except as_*)

I think some people need to relax a little though. If (for example) not everyone wants to play knifes only I don't think its a life threatening problem .

[STi] vs the rest was good fun (when we got it together )

15 mins is a bit on the quick side as we have been playing 5 min games. If they all last the 5 mins nobody ends up with decent weapons. Try 20 mins each !!!

yeah i must admit to hating wot they did to Office - used to be a v nice map.

never did like militia or assault.

wotever happened to arabstreets ? brilliant map - esp as CT.

i agree 20 is more like it.....30 tends to be too long which seems to b the BW default.

Stve, I forgot to mention about the paging thing. I have my BT mail box set to ring my mobile when I get incoming. You can set it up in their Openworld pages.

I use a different e-mail address for general purposes, so only get "useful" stuff to the BT one.
