Sports results are pretty good, Rally even! If you're not paying the bill and are sad enough to use Yahoo messenger - I am - you can log in on your mobile phone via WAP. TV listings come in handy when you can't be bothered to get off the sofa for the guide and hate Teletext. ****'s not worth looking at. Email works, just.

Also, if you are ever travelling by train you can get the timetable info.
I've used it a couple of times when heading to a station across London to know whether I have to run when I get there

Surprisingly NatWest On-Line Banking is actually quite good via WAP. I even paid my Gas Bill on the train the other day
Unfortunately as the NatWest platform is slowly migrated to the Royal Bank of Scotland platform the WAP option is going. I just got a cheque from NatWest to "ease the inconvenience" of loding that option - so if you bank with NatWest try signing up for WAP banking

Plugging my own company time.....
There are various ways to conect to the information you want. Either
a) go to the phones homepage (depends on the operator) and browse through the sites there. If you don't like the links on this portal you can change to another one eg Genie, Visavi, T-Motion etc It doesn't amtter what network you are on. Instruction can be found on their web sites normally.
b)type a URL direct into your phone (pain in the **** and takes ages)
c)Use this fab, cool, simple (you get the idea) system called Bango Numbers to get direct to the site you want.
The link below takes you to a PDF of a card we did listing some useful sites and how to get there.
