Unfortunately I have to agree. He plays one or two decent passes or shots in most of the games and everyone thinks he is brilliant. Why are people so blind?

Knock his personality / dress sense etc etc - but you really can't knock his talent.
He plays for one of the best clubs in the world - he earns a fortune & captains England - you actually do need a smidgen of talent to achieve any one of those - let alone all of them.

he may sound like frank spencer, and sometimes wear questionable outfits, but the facts remain that he is England captain for a reason.

he really has outstanding control of a football, and great vision as a player.

by the way, i dont support man u, i follow crystal palace. but i know a class player when i see one.

I don't like football much but even I can see that Beckham is an exceptional player, world class.

Because the one or 2 decent shots or passes usually lead directly/indirectly to a goal !
His passing has pin-point accuracy & his free kicks are the best in the world.
I am not a huge fan - but he is very very good at what he does. Sports people dont get paid vast sums of money if they are pants. The good ones get paid very well & he is very good at his sport.

Jesus Christ, you agree with something I say!
Everybody is always going on about him, he makes a few lucky little moves and gets classed as THE ONE! I mean, he is crap. I have some friends who are professional and they all say the guy is CRAP!

The problem with English football is, they pay these idiots way to much money to kick a ball round a field. When they dont deliver the goods there are always excuses made as to why it went wrong (ie. it hit the wrong part of his foot, the ground conditions where a bit offish). If you are paying these doughnuts this stupid amount of money, they should be getting the job done every bloody time

HA HA Somebody has been talking! Would this be a certain Markus Warren? Owner of the Black Beast (nice car). Yes a BMW 728i pulled out in front on me and totally destroyed the front end of my bike. Had to pay out about £800 to get second hand parts to rebuild it. I'm still waiting for the insurance to sort it all out.

Yer, I was going down Fleet Street, pulled away from a set of lights, 1 min later the BMW pulled straight out in front of me with no indication. I remember shouting something out then it all went black. Woke up and looked to my left and saw the bike completely screwed at the front. There was all blood pooring out my nose and I couldnt hear anything, eyesight blurry! NOT GOOD! I got 3 witnesses though!

Looks like I will need a lot of good luck. I got dragged in the back of an ambulance straight after strapped to a lump of metal.

So I did not get the blokes insurance details. The Police took his address and name. A few days after all this I rung the Police Station and he had still not done his producer! I rang them a couple of days ago and he still has not done it!

Hmmmmm. As mentioned above, he must be crap, considering how much football teams think he is worth, considering he is the captain of ENGLAND, considering he can be unbelievably accurate at passing and setting up goals. Have the brains and skill to be involved in football proffesionally before coming out with brainless comments children. He may be a muppet, but the boy know's how to play. We have specialists and all rounders in all walks of life. What he does, he does well and before you ask, I don't support Man U in any way.

Cheers,

Nick

Mr Blackbird,

Another Saarfender here. Sorry, but you can't knock Beckham as a talent, whether he sounds like he's swallowed a helium balloon or not.
Yes, Posh might be a publicity-seeking has-been, but Becks can still play football.
If it's his lifestyle/style/partner that's blinding you to that fact, then that's a pity, but in years to come you'll be mature enough to recognise his ability for what it is.

Terry (also not a Man U fan)
