Had some good news yesterday, I have been promoted! Hooray! So, new company car for me soon!

Therefore, I am now toying with a no. of options - an S3, an A4 TDi with leather and the new body kit, incls 17"s (looks superb) or a BMW 318Ci with 18"s, leather etc. Comments on any of these cars would be very useful, especially tax implications, owners points of view etc.

Is an S3 a bit too much like my Scoob!? BMW image?! Hmmm...really undecided at present. Any comments very welcome.

Well, I can guarantee the A4's going to have lower tax implications because it'll have much better mpg. Nice car, as well - very good looking, the new shape A4, even without bodykit.

BMW - ermmm... they are about to facelift the saloon and Touring, but not the Coupe - but they're going to be doing something to the Coupe fairly soon. And they're so ubiquitous, and not fast at all.

S3 - easily the one I'd have, because it's supposed to be the best successor to the Ur-Quattro, lovely leather inside, fastest, cool looking. Just a question of space, I s'pose.

A4 definitely most sensible tax wise, but I had a new A4 1.8T as a courtesy car when the S4 was being serviced and it was a cack car. The plastics seemed a big step backwards from my (old) S4 and the brakes were so over assisted I needed to wear a bandage on my head from smacking the windscreen everytime I touched the brake pedal .
S3 the sexiest by far - fast, nice inside and got some individuality. BMW rep-mobile common as a common thing.
Can u get a Skoda RS?
