Does any body know where I can get some cheap metal containers to store a load of home furnishings ie desks tables fridges paintings sofas etc. They have to be securable and water proof. I also have some hypnos beds and pine furniture for sale if anyone is interested.

You planning on storing these items in a metal container outside? I would have thought that the items would get damp etc, so I hope its not a long term plan!
I would investigate how much it would cost to hire space at one of these self-storage warehoues.
You can hire the steel containers that ride on the bak of artics, and are used for shipping goods overseas, not sure where from though! And they may need planning consent!
