Want to try one of the rally schools in England. Bill Gwynnes school has been suggested to me, so I was wondering if anyboby had attended any courses there ? Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Or indeed could anybody suggest which is the best school to go to ? Thanks !

I've done a dall at BGRS. If you are an SIDC Member, Neil Micklethwaite is organsining another day out there.

In fact, even if you aren't a member, the saving you would make by joining the SIDC for £25 would payback the £25 several times over!

I had a top day. Driving on gravel is totally different. Our instructor Pat was a great laugh.

The Mark II Escorts looked greated fun as well, even though have about half the power of the Scooby - hand braking around the hair pins

chap at work went and did a rally class (pre impreza days) and still raves about it now!!

 

I have done Silverstone Rally School (before they moved outside the circuit area), Phil Price and Bill Gwynne.

The Silverstone one wasnt that great, but they have changed it a lot since i was there, so cant really comment on it now !

Phil Price was excellent fun rear wheel drivers (MK2 escorts) well organised and the driver round the stage in the Cossie was a interesting then the passenger ride was an education

Bill Gwynne ! was well !! the best one i have done so far !! Instructor was great ! layout was just about right, food was excellent etc etc i may have to pop up and watch next time, i didnt get chance to take many pics of out lot !!!
