Probably fine and about 5 points i think it is. 100mph is meant to be a ban but ive heard people getting off with about 9 points and a couple of hundred quid fine

if your a policeman then its 6 points for doing over 100Mph.See thread in "general"- for the rest of us 100MPh would be a ban- For 93mph I reckon its gonna be at least 3 points and a much larger fine than normal fixed penalty.

90 is points no ban
they don't seem to mind 90 unless your being silly, played tag with a motorway patrol car for 40 miles this morning varying between 70 and 90, he wasn't bothered seem more pissed that he was causing a wall of traffic behind him, i crept passed pull in, he overtook i crept past etc it went on and on people storming up, see him slam ancors on, pull in.... he even looked over and gave i fedup sort of smile at one point

Conversely Rio Ferdinand got a ban at 90mph with a £3000 fine.. Still, maybe there were extenuating circumstances.
On a more serious note, I suspect that this was not Mr Ferdinand's first offence - hence the big fine.

Mate at work got stopped on the M3 doing 96 he was behind another car. Car in front got on the spot fine of £40 and 3 points he went to court as they could not stop him and got 3 points and £200 fine but no ban so he should be fine unless they are in a bad mood!!!!

I got caught heading up the A9 in 95 doing 99.xxmph. That was the average over a 4-mile check; at some points I was doing 110+.
I received 4 points and a £250 fine from the nice men in Forfar

ScoobyNutta555,
The filth have got 6 months to go through the system and get the summons to you, after that they have no case.
3 years ago I thought that I'd got away with a traffic offence and a 1 day after the 6 months deadline I'd got my summons! And the summons was dated 2 days before the expiry! Swines.

133mph on the motorway 18 months ago earned me 6 points and £400 fine.
It was also THE DAY that the papers were carrying on the front page that 100mph or above would result in a ban.
Obviously the judges don't believe in everything they read in the papers.

As fines are income related, tell then you are self employed and accounts for current year not yet with Inland Revenue, but you expect profits in the region of £8000 per annum.
Even if you have a £100000 salary, you still wont have told a lie.
