hardly big time crime. Anyway it costs a whack to have them in jail, the Army guy will be disciplined internally as a matter of course, probably get chucked out so losing your career is still a price to pay.

He should have thought of that before he decided to cheat. He probably got legal aid as well as he was £20000 in debt.
Trial probably cost millions as well.

He lives just down the road from me. The local papers have delighted in ripping into his cheating, decieving, lying lifestyle.

He's gonna lose his house too as well as his job (house owned by army IIRC).
ITV have SAVED £1m don't forget for not having to pay the winnings (not sure how much the trial costs overall, heard it was about £1m so no-one has gained or lost overall - except the major & co of course! - if the money is distributed properly - yeah right! )
