Long Story Short.
Someone "mistook" my car for someone elses and used their key in my drivers side lock, resulting in snapping the key in the lock, and me needing a replacement lock.
They work in the same building as me, and have admitted to the damage. Iv'e had an estimate of £82, and they said they would pay, but after 6 weeks of trying to recover the money from them I'm getting no where. I keep getting told next week etc. etc.
Where do I stand? whats the best next steps etc. etc.
Cheers for any advice.

Give the person a *dead*line. Make it clear that if you don't get your money by the end of the week, say, some unspecified further action will result. It's hardly going to be worth going to the small claims court for £80.00
