just talking to my father in law today. He recently retired from the fire service, where he was a sub officer, after about 30 years of service.
He has just started a new job at a local private hospital as a porter *** odd job man. He was told the other day he has to go on a....... wait for it..... FIRE SAFETY course !!!!
No exemptions... even funnier for a while he was the fire safety officer foe East Sussex!!!
